MEET THE TEAM

Get to know the people behind the scenes of Edo Superstar. The group was brought together by fate and forged in a molten pool of nerdiness.

ALLIES JOIN THE TEAM!

LEVI
BOND

MUSIC

Levi is a first class honours graduate from Leeds College of Music in the UK, where he still lives now. His interest in music for the moving image bloomed while studying, primarily in short films and animation, before joining his 2 lifelong passions together and deciding to create music for video games. Influenced by soundtracks from games such as Rayman Origins and the Advance Wars series, Levi’s a proverbial one-man band providing the composition, tracking, and production for much of the music and SFX you hear in Edo Superstar.

JORDAN
HENRY

MUSIC

Jordan Henry is a composer in Los Angeles CA. He writes and produces music for TV and video games through his production company No Relation Studios. Jordan has been fortunate to have his music appear on FOX, ABC, Hulu, Netflix, and several popular video game releases, including Need For Speed: Reboot (2015). His work has also been featured in a 12-part series called Side Hustle, a co-production created by The Guardian UK and Squarespace. Jordan works from his production studio in Highland Park, where he also lives with his wife and cat.

PAUL
OVOUBA

ANIMATION

Paul Ovouba loves art, movies, games, and pretty much anything that moves. After studying animation at Brigham Young University, he worked as an animator for Disney Interactive Studios. This last year and a half, he's been animating characters for Edo Superstar. Paul currently lives in Arkansas, where he raises his young son and supports his wife through graduate school. All the while he vows to continue on the journey to become a greater animator...

BILL
CASS

ANIMATION

I’m Bill Cass, an animator from the Pacific Northwest. Although I enjoy working on paper with ink and watercolor, I especially enjoy experimenting with the best ways to use all of the digital tools we’re lucky to have. Edo Superstar came around right when I was branching out into all sorts of digital animation methods, and I was TOTALLY SPICED (as I like to put it) to become a part of this project!

NICK
BURKE

DIALOGUE, EDITING

Nick Burke is a freelance writer, filmmaker, and co-founder of art company Obake Style. He has a B.A. in history with an emphasis on Japanese art and history. He was actually brought on to Edo Superstar when he compared Jed Henry's woodblock prints to Yoshitoshi's prints. Flattery goes a long way.
